Paul Darwynn Garilao is a licensed Mechanical Engineer who passed the board exams last April 2007. Prior to taking the licensure exams, he graduated in De La Salle University –Manila.  He is the former editor in chief of The LaSallian, the school’s official student publication (SY 2005-2006). Hailed as two-time best news reporter, his article Is there a Tuition Crisis? published in July 2006 called the attention of the administration to increase its loan tuition program from one to 10 million pesos.   Paul contributes to GoodnewsPilipinas.com, a website that celebrates the victories and triumphs of Filipino people.  As a motivational speaker, he has given workshops about campus journalism and personality development among high school and college students. He also facilitates the talks of Ian Barcelona, one of the country’s foremost motivational speakers.
